St Thomas Central Ingersoll July 12th, 2003 St Thomas Central Railway #9 was putting on its best behavior as it made is first ever trip on CP rail from St Thomas to Ingersoll for the Canterbury Folk Festival. Passengers rode in the train's four vintage cars including a 1920 CN diner car, a 1923 CPR coach and two 1950s VIA rail coaches. Even though the weather was dull it couldn't dampen the sprits of all the people that waited at crossings or the over 800 people who greeted us in Ingersoll. Our engineer, Jim Hornblower was making one of his last runs before retiring from CPR.
