Oktoberfest Tour 2003
Stratford Yard Tours

September 29 to October 3rd saw #9 entertaining rail fans with a 40 minute tour of GEXR's facilities in Stratford.

They got to see an excellent  working shortline with our train having to make a number of moves to keep out

of the way of GEXR's busy schedule. The week started out in bright sunshine but soon gave way to heavy rains an

wind with temperatures dropping to almost freezing.

The weather couldn't dampen the spirits of the rail fans and Ian of the Stratford Historical society provided a super railroad display in the VIA Station.

Our thanks to VIA in London and Stratford for making us feel at home.
