London, Huron & Bruce Railway

The LH & B was built in 1875 to connect London with the Wellington, Grey and Bruce in Wingham.

This bridge is about 3 Km South of Wingham Junction.

It was a massive structure with the granite blocks hauledto the site.

The railway was abandoned in 1941 but the bridge pilings will be there another couple of hundred years.
