The CN Paynes Subdivision is located between Glencoe and St. Thomas.
It is the
former CN Chatham Subdivision. There are four trestles plus 2 smaller bridges on
the line
At Glencoe, the CN Paynes Subdivision Jct.'s with
the CN Chatham Subdivision and at St. Thomas, it connects to the CN/Trillium
Cayuga Spur (formerly the CN Cayuga Subdivision).
Beautiful sunny day and lots of date nails still in place. Oldest I found was 1930 but lots of 1937, 1942 & 1944. Looks as if the last major work done on the line was 1966
